Am seeking any information on the death date for Ida Cross. She shows up on the 1920 and 1930 census for Tulsa County. She could possibly be the sister to my grandfather. Nothing is known of her after the 1900 census. Ida Mae Scott was born 1885 in Texas to Richard and Sarah Scott. Her married name is unknown. I have just searched for common threads like her parent's birthplaces on census and age. This Ida Cross is a match. One distant cousin says Ida visited her grandmother in OK during the 1940's. Possible surviving siblings would be R. Y. Scott, Clarence Scott, Eunice Richards, Nena Forrester. Any help would be appreciated. Faye Heffington Littlefield, Texas

Is there someone on the list that might be able to help this person? Jeff B. OK I am searching for Sidney Loveless, b. 1900 - I believe in Marion County, KS. He died in Tulsa in the 70's, I believe. Sidney would be my great, great uncle. I have been working on the family genealogy for ten years and Sidney and his brother, Alfred, has just sort of disappeared from trace. They are not on the social security death index and there's nothing on the RLDS site. He had a son named Richard and I cannot trace him either, he should still be alive. Can you help in this case? If not, at this website I found mention of FOUR cemeteries whose present location is "Keystone Dam" indicating they may have existed prior to the Dam/Lake. I believe the community of Keystone was relocated in the late 1950's and the Dam was completed in the early '60s. http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgenweb/okprojects/pawnee/pawnee-gnis.htm 1. Dixie Cemetery; 2. East Basin Cemetery; 3. Leroy Cemetery; and 4. Sinnett Cemetery. I do not know if the other three cemeteries have been canvassed by a volunteer, but perhaps someone on the Pawnee County message board may know of a transcription somewhere. I know Mahlon Erickson has canvassed the Sinnett and other Pawnee Co. cemeteries. You might helpful data at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~okpawnee/pawnee.htm Hmmm, I was told by Mannford and Sapulpa researchers that the former town of Keystone was located in Creek Nation and after statehood, Creek County--not Tulsa County. Do I need to correct my gedcom's cites? BTW, I'm going to the Sinnett Cemetery this weekend to get a grave marker photo for another researcher. Can I snap and email you (or another reader) a few digital pictures, too? Sandy
