    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: JORDAN,JORDON,SHADWICK,HALE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EZB.2ACE/1305 Message Board Post: I am searching for information on the Jordon/Shadwick/Hale lines in my family. Here is some of the info I have: Cisero (also spelled: Cicero; as well as Sirus & Cyrus on 1880 AR census') Jordan...married Mary E. Shadwick. Cisero was born in 1826, in TN and died in 1916 and is buried at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw. I do not know where Mary is buried. The Shadwick line, through Mary, is her mother: Catharine Miller, b. abt. 1810 in TN and her father: Hardy Shadwick, b. in TN. Specifically, my search is centered around Cisero & Mary's last child.......Thomas (Tom) Jordan. Thomas married Leona (Hale) Downing, it was her second marriage. They had two sons together, Rufus Cicero Jordon, my husbands grandfather, b. in 1910 and died in 1958; and his brother, Albert Jordon, b. 1913 and d. in 1983. Rufus had 3 half-brothers: 2 Downings and 1 Womack? Don't know how that name got in there. However, Thomas had a brother named Benjamin Franklin Jordan, b. 1874; and twin siblings-boy & girl named George Washington Jordan and Mary Cathrine Jordan, born 1-21-1878. George is buried at Short Cem. in LeFlore county. Any information about Tom would be tremendously helpful! Thanks so much...Debbie

Surnames: Donohoo Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/EZB.2ACE/1302 Message Board Post: Ollie Aldace Donahoo was a dear friend of my grandmother's; I hadn't grasped how dear until I found in going through some of her things. I have a photograph of her three daughters, Aldace, Helen, and Kathryn. My mother had added a note to the pic that they were the daughters of Dr. Joe Donohoo (He had the first automobile in Afton). I also have a clipping Grandmother had saved of the obituary for Ollie Aldace Donohoo (the doctor's wife). It's undated, but notes she was a "pioneer Oklahoman and a resident of Tulsa for 39 years. According to the obit, one daughter (Kathryn, the youngest) was still at home; one, Mr.s Richard A. Kent was in Westfield, NH. The third, Mrs. R. B. Ingram, was also in Tulsa. I hate to pitch these without first making an effort to see if any of her descendants might like to have these items. Write me at PatJBell@aol.com or felinefoot@earthlink.net rather than use the address above.

Surnames: Fowler, Brock, Jordan, Webster Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EZB.2ACE/1300 Message Board Post: I recently found Georg and Pollie Fowler in the 1920 Tulsa Co Census living in Collinsville. Also listed with them are three grandchildren John W., Georg, and a girl who's name begins with an A ( the handwriting is hard to read) with the last name of Brock. Since Georg and Polly did not have any children together I need to know if these grandchildren are Polly's or Gerog's. Polly was married three times and had children with two first husbands, names Jordan and Webster. Georg was married at least once that we know of because he had a son named John William Fowler.

    1. Judge John T HARLEY - Tulsa
    2. Sharon McBride
    3. Hi All, Wonder if someone on the list might be able to help me find a relatives death & hopefully obituary. John Thomas HARLEY was born in 1888 in Lehigh, Oklahoma to Patrick J Harley & Sarah McMullen. As a youngster he attended school at St Mary's Academy, Oklahoma City where his Aunt - Sister Mary Camillas Harley was a teacher. He later became a lawyer & judge & lived in Tulsa. I have found references to court cases in the mid 1940's when he was a Judge. I cannot find him on SSDI records & don't know when he died. Being in Australia I don't know a lot about what records are available for Tulsa, what cemetery he might be buried in etc. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Sharon Sharon McBride Perth, Western Australia mailto:mcbridez@tpg.com.au Research Interests http://users.tpg.com.au/mcbridez/
