    3. Posted on: Tulsa County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/Tulsa/10559 Surname: Ringstaff, Palmer, Blair, Woolsey ------------------------- Is there a kind soul in Tulsa who could look up my grandmother, great-grandmother and great-uncle in the City Directory? I believe they may have been in Tulsa from about 1932 to 1946. My great-grandmother was Zena May Palmer by 1939, but she may have been using the name from her first marriage, Zena May Woolsey. Her second husband may have been Paul or Jack Palmer. My grandmother was Mildred Virginia Ringstaff. She may have been using her maiden name, Woolsey, or the name of her second husband, Blair. Her third husband was M. C. Ringstaff, and she was using that name by 1942. My great-uncle was Stanley Woolsey. Fortunately, he never changed his name! By 1946 or 1947, the three have moved back to Springfield, Missouri. Both Zena and Mildred applied for Social Security Cards in Tulsa, so that is why I think they were living there. - Heather

    3. The ggrandaughter of J M Hall (one of the founders) of Tulsa has given me permission to put the book "The Beginning of Tulsa" on the web. This book was written in 1927, updated in 1933 and has been out of print and almost impossible to find since the mid 1930s. This is a fabulous resource for those who are searching for early Tulsa ancestors. Mr. Hall was one of the first men in Tulsa and his book contains lots of names and history. I have only the first 20 pages on-line by you are welcome to drop by and see what I have so far. You will need to check back off and on because this is will take me awhile.
