    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: FOWLER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EZB.2ACE/565 Message Board Post: I am trying to locate anyone with ANY info on William Virgil Haywood FOWLER or his wife, Mabel. He was shot and killed in Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., KS on June 11, 1919 at the age of 30 years and 3 months. He was supposedly killed by "revenuers" while "running whiskey" between Kansas and Oklahoma. He may have been with relatives (FOWLER uncles?) when it happened. His body was sent back to Tulsa, OK for burial. He and his wife were living in Tulsa, OK in 1919 and he either owned or worked in a hotel. Mabel probably remarried as she is not buried with him, but I have also found an SSDI listing for a Mabel Fowler whose last known address was in Tulsa, OK......so not sure. William had been previously married and divorced in Texas and had one daughter by that union. I don't know where he married Mabel or when. I also don't know if they had any children. ANY info would be greatly appreciated! Rayne Hamby (Texas).

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/EZB.2ACE/433.1 Message Board Post: I don't know if this is the same "Miller" family you are refering to, but I hope it is. My Grandfather, "William Herbert Miller" Lived in Tulsa, OK. I know that William had several brothers, but not sure if he had sisters.I know William's mother's name was "Libbie." I'm not sure of the exact dates he lived in Tulsa, but I know it was over 60 yrs ago. "William Miller" married "Ivy Gertrude Lowe McAllister" (Daughter of George Lowe) who changed her name to "Gertrude Ivy.", Gertrude was previously married to a man with the last name of McAllister, and they begat one daughter named "Mary Carolyn McAllister." Gertrude dropped the McAllister name when she got divorced prior to her marriage to William Miller. If any of these names help you please let me know as I am interested if finding my ancestery info also.

Surnames: BOX Classification: Lookup Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EZB.2ACE/561 Message Board Post: I am trying to locate Glyn K. Box as he may be the only person left that may be able to help me trace my paternal grandfather (I don't even know his name). I have very little information on Glyn, all I know is that he was stationed around Knutsford, Cheshire, England between 1942-1944. His wifes name was Kathleen and he came from Oklahoma. He was supposed to be the best friend of my grandfather and I would very much like to get in contact with him or his family. Thanking anyone who can help me in advance (even if it is only by checking your counties telephone directory) - Ronald Cox.
