I am looking for information on Joseph L O'Donnell and Peggy O'Donnell. She was living with but apparently not married to Joseph Lafayette O'Donnell when he died August 20, 1972 in Owasso, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She may be Joseph's daughter and hence my mother's half sister. Joesph (Joe O) b 1898 in MO, was a cook in the merchant marines and lived in the Tulsa area most of his life. His father was George Joseph O'Donnell and his mother was Rosa Viola Bennett. I believe that Joseph may also have had a brother and a sister living in the Tulsa area as well. Joseph married Lula B Gammill in 1926 in Tulsa and had a daughter (my mother) Dorothy Jane O'Donnell. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Judy

There was a high school student named Casper Schichtle who lived in Coffeyville, Kansas 1956-1958 (perhaps the family was there longer). He was Catholic and would have been born in 1940. You might find information on the family by contacting Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. He may have married Linda Womack.

Mary (need maiden name) lived 1868-1961. At one point, they probably lived in Conway Arkansas, and probably were part of the St. Joseph Parish in Conway. They went to Catholic Church in the Tulsa Oklahoma area. I have discovered brief info on Joe Thomas Schichtl (1896-1971), George J. Schichtle (1900-1984), Catherine Schichtle (1891-1961), Henry R. Schichtle (Schichtler in his obit???) (1907-1987), and Casper Schichtle (1909-1966). ALso, Matilda S. Hoseman of Vicksburg (Mrs. Charles Antoine or Antoyne), Margaret Long of Pampa Texas, Helen Gwilliam (1906-1974) of Tulsa, and Appolonia Burke of Hartford Connecticut. I have a photo of a Mr. Schichtel and two women taken near Joplin Missouri around the 1870s or 1880s that might be these people, as well as many unidentified tintype photos from this side. The other kin moved to the farmland south of Grand Rapids Michigan, near New Salem Michigan. Later, some moved to Traverse City.
Cecil NERBER passed away sometime in the 1950s, I think. Lillian NERBER passed away sometime in the 1960s. They were older and retired. No children. Does anyone have any information on these two people? Sincerely, Carol Miller Green Valley, AZ

He died in January 1965. At one time he was a prominent oil man, I have been told. His father was Frank Eugene Booth, and his mother was Ida May Smith. John was born in Illinois. I suspect that he was born in the late 1800's but don't know when. The family moved from Kankakee, Illinois to Joplin, MO prior to 1910, and then moved to Vinita, OK around 1910. John's nickname was "Red". He worked in the family Taxi business at least into the mid 1920's. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim Davis
