    3. This list is very interesting. It has 2 of my family history surnames. Also, I noticed Mankiller. Wilma Mankiller was the Chief of the Cherokee Nation a few years ago. I was searching (still am, sigh) for my Cherokee roots and going thru a terrible divorce at the time and really felt a sort of "bond" towards her (or her name!) <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> *~Y~* *~B~* My York & Baer Family site: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ouryorks Family and friends York list: http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/ouryorks Stewart and Wilson list: http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/wmwilson I am an Angel - R U? http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~angels/ ______________________________________________________________ Paternal: YORK,STEWART,WILSON,GEE,HONNOLL,LEE,McHENRY,MARTIN Other: STOUT, STINNETT, THOMPSON Maternal: BAER, KEAGY, BROWN, CHARLESWORTH, BARROW(S) , FERGUSON, HUMBLE, GATES, BRADLEY, BESWICK(E), CHADWICK, PENDLEBURY, HARDMAN, CRABTREE, HOOLE, KAY, CROMPTON, COWAN, ROTHWELL, KERSHAW < dalton@nidlink.com > <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <> -----Original Message----- From: KLPaints@aol.com <KLPaints@aol.com> To: OKSTEPHE-L@rootsweb.com <OKSTEPHE-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, December 07, 1999 5:44 PM Subject: [OKSTEPHE Genealogy] 1873-1896 executed persons at Fort Smith Arkansas > >>From 1873 through 1896, eighty-seven men were executed on the gallows at Fort >Smith.
