    3. Hi Charline, If you are talking about the same cemetary that I was you need to know that the last person was buried there in 1992. I know that the funeral home that did the burial was instructed to do so by a request from the dead persons will. They carried it out.It seem like the cemetary had`nt been used for 20 or so years. Let me know? Vera

    2. Deanna and Floyd Dyer
    3. I am looking for any descendants of my ggg grandmother Lue M. Bays Shilling. I have obtained her death records from Callaway-Smith Funeral Home. She died Dec 1, 1977 in Marlow. She married Charles Ben Shilling Dec 1, 1895 at Denton Co, TX. Her father was Joseph Bays, and mother was Mary Ann Hick. Her surviving relatives were Pearl Shilling Vestal, Ruby Shilling Clements, Bessie Shilling Mercing, Melvin Shilling, Verna Shilling Hanley, and Eva Shilling Worth--all these were children of hers. Mack Bays was also a survivor and he was her brother. If any of these names sound familiar to anyone I sure could use some help on this branch of my family. All the above info was taken from her funeral records. Thanks, Deanna Howard-Dyer

The family story is that that my grandfather was there in the 1890s. It was supposed to be in Pickens County a few miles east of the present-day town of Commanche, Oklahoma. Another family story is that he and a friend, a Doctor Pruitt, liked to camp at a place called Mudd Creek. Jim
