I have been unable to confirm this and the state vital stats have sent my request for birth cert back saying unable to locate. Would appreciate any help pertaining to Clifford and or his family. I am seeking descendants of John and Ella (Adams) Harvell. John M. Harvell, b. about 1873 in TX is found on the following census: 1880 - Baxter Co. AR 1900 - Stephens Co. (Indian Territory) OK 1910 - Pontotoc Co. OK 1920 - Jefferson Co. OK John was the son of Alexander Harvell and his 2nd wife, Francis Norman Davis. There was an Alexander N. Davis in Pontotoc Co in 1910 who may have been John Harvell's half-brother. Also, there is a William D. Davis who is said to have died in Stephens county in 1935. Children of John And Ella (Adams) Harvell as listed on census records are: Earnest, Viola, Wade Walter (born 1909 in Duncan), Bernice, John, and J.B. Harvell. Would like to exchange information.

None of his children were teachers. The only connection I know of to Stephens County is that Sterling Washington Allen (George's father) was supposedly buried there. I thought perhaps there were some kinfolks that might have been there. I can find no reason for S.W. Allen to even have been there - much less be buried there. Sorry. I really don't think we connect. Mrs. Gore died in the past year or two. Their son Jack still lives in the Meridian community between Duncan and Comanche, OK. I think their daughter lives in the Comanche area also.
