Thursday Nov 18, 2004 Graveside services for Mary Dale HUNT, 93, formerly of Vian, are being held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, underthe direction of Mallory-Martin of Sallisaw. Mrs. HUNT was born on February 22, 1911, in Norman, Ark., to James SELLS and Effie HOWE SELLS. She died on Thursday, November 11, 2004, in Stockton, Calif. She resided in Stockton for the past 53 years working for the Senior Services Agency for the 20 years preceding her retirement. Survivors include her four children, Lou MARTIN MATTOX and Anice MARTIN REYNOLDS of Sallisaw, Billie MARTIN McBRIDE of Tulsa and Wrner MERRIOTT of Stockton; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and 13, great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold SELLS of Longview, Wash. She was preceded in death by her children, Pauline MARTIN ROSS and Michael MERRIOTT; three husbands, Ezra Thomas MARTIN, Cecil MERRIOTT and Jess HUNT. Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund for the First United Me! thodist Church of Sallisaw.
