correction - Mary Elizabeth (Bettie)Howell was born abt. 1863/1864 (possibly in Franklin Co., Ar) She and James William Adkison were married in Jan. of 1883 in Crawford Co., AR. I have never been able to find where or when (or how) she died or where she is buried. She was my gr-grandmother. their 1st child was born in Sequoyah Co. in 1884, their second child, my grandfather, James Henry Adkison, was born in Ft. Smith, Sebastian Co, in 1888 and their 3rd child was born in Sequoyah Co in 1892 so it appears they were back and forth between Crawford Co., Sebastian Co. and Sequoyah Co between 1883 and whenever she died. I found James William with 2nd wife, Harriet Ess in the 1900 Cherokee Nation Census and he died 12 Jan 1912 in Red Oak, Latimer Co., OK. I would love to find out where any of them are buried and/or a 1910 census finding.
