Sequoyah County Clerk has five large ledger type books which they recorded some birth and deaths. These occurred in Sequoyah County from Dec. 1908 to May 1917. Oklahoma didn't require death certificate submissions until 1925, and even then some deaths didn't get reported. I have one page out of these books, here are the names I have if it helps anyone let me know and I'll send the info. First name is of the person that died, second name is that persons father, third name if there is one in the persons mother. Margaret Glady PERRY., C.C. You'll need to find out the fee they are charging todate, and send the fee plus a stamped self addressed envelope. As always I hope this brings someone closer to their brick wall.
