Sharender, I am looking at the film at the Fort Worth Archives, if you want to contact them, the phone number is (817) 334-5525. I may not have the name exactly right, but it is close and the number at the archives is xr16, I believe. That information should give them enough to go on so you can get the "exacts". Oh, when I said "does anyone else know?" I thought maybe someone else from the list might know more about this census than I do. I surely hope it helps! Take care and go safely! I've never heard of this cenus - is it on microfilm or published? I am going through that right now. I'm willing to look anywhere! If you could point me in the direction where I could look at this census, I will. From documents on which the information may or may not be correct, my Andersons (James & wife Amanda "molllie") were in the Ada and Redland areas. I'm not sure, but it may be worth checking into. > Does anyone else know? No one in the family seems to know for sure. Part of the family was in the Redland area, some in the Muskogee area and at some time, in the Ada area. I cannot say this is correct or not as I haven't been able to find a census for Indian Territory to search. > Tsana Thanks, Sharon > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Sharander <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Thursday, July 12, 2001 10:28 PM > Subject: 1890 Census > > > > I received the microfilm of the 1890 Cherokee Nation Census.
