Sharon, please keep us posted on the tribal census for 1890 you located. My Howard family lived in Redland. I think they went there in the 1890s--I know they were there in 1902. I have had trouble learning much about them there, and I didn't find them in the Sequoyah Co., IT, 1900 census. I'll let everyone know how the search goes when I get the film, which will take about 4-6 weeks (I ordered from Salt Lake City) - just renting it from the Family History Center. There are no indexes for the film, so it has to be searched frame by frame - talk about slow.... so if I can, I'll try to keep a lookout for your family name. The film supposedly has ten sections on it and Red Land covers two sections. My family left about 1899 for Texas - and I hear that many families left about that time, but don't know the reasons. There is also and 1880 census, but I couldn't find a film by the Family History Center, the film is only at the National Archives and at OK Historical Center as far as I could find.
