Hello List, my name is Melodee( Caves) Slaney, I am seeking research help( in Sallisaw) at the Courthouse. What I would like is to have some look at the marriage indexes from 1921-1929 and see if their was a marriage license taken out , James E Caves and a Lizzy( Elizabeth) Lizzy as she was called Lizzy Barton Barnhart, I have a feeling that my ancestor was involved with oil and may have been in the area , I am also seeking any Caves cousins that may live in the area, James Emery Caves father was IG Caves, My great grandfather.
