Frank Miller was living in Sequoyah co OK in the 1910 census as a visitor of a Winchester family. He was 34 and single, born in Canada, emigrated 1900, and naturalized. Two doors away was his future wife, Maggie (Wallings) Kiser/Kaiser, her two Kiser children Grace and James, and her parents and siblings. I know they were married. Not sure when or where but probably by 1913. There is a possibility that Maggie was pregnant with a son, later named Jack in 1910. Both boys, James and Jack, were later raised by Frank in Illinois. If anyone has a copy of the marriage book or can access birth records I would appreciate any help. I live in CA and that makes it difficult for me to trace my Wilson/Bailey/Whitmire lines in Sequoyah Co. Compound that with the fact that my grandmother's parents both died when she was a little girl and she was passed from relative to relative, it's been nearly impossible. I do have 2 or 3 photos that someone gave me of graves in Still Cemetery in Gore & Vian Garden of Memories in Vian, and my gr gr grandfather's grave on his ranch on Black Gum Mtn. (on the old Wilson Ranch)that I will gladly scan and submit. Someone gave me a listing out of an old book of all those buried in the Still Cemetery. This was probably 20+ years ago. I will gladly submit that list as well. It would really be great if someone could transcribe the cemetery in Vian. I have loads of Wilson and Bailey family members buried there that I need birth and death dates on. If there is anything I can do from all the way out here in CA, let me know. Not sure if my message got posted to the list, so here it is: Fleetwood Cemetery "To reach the cemetery, take U. S. 64 between Muldrow and Sallisaw. Six miles west of Muldrow or five miles east of Sallisaw turn north on the Central High Road. The cemetery road is the second left turn. A sign marks the turn. The road to the cemetery is paved. The cemetery is fenced and well maintained." My ancestors buried there are John W. Cole and wife Elizabeth Painter Cole--also Jacob Cole. I have a partial list of those buried there--AMOS through COUSINS. At the courthouse you can get a list. The list shows the rows of markers by letter: A, B, C, etc. By the fence you will find bricks that mark the rows. Gene Johnson

I was hoping someone had a better answer than what I came up with.... if anyone has more precise directions, please post to the list!!! ;-) Sallisaw City Cemetery - Right where Interstate 40 and hwy 59 meet in Sallisaw. Fleetwood - Right off of I40, East of Sallisaw. Central Rd. looks to be about where it is located. Paw Paw - Looks like it is very close to the OK/AR border, kind of in between hwy 64 & 271 ....
