Has anyone on the list had an elderly relative refer to the term "Indian Headright's'? What does that exactly mean or where could I find the answer? I have heard it used in that manner and I've also heard it used just as "Headright's" in refereeing to an allotment of land to what I believe is a -- white settler. Any help on clarifying this terminology is appreciated. Thanks, Paula in Oregon
