    3. There is nothing absolutely wrong with a Roll Call, and a person can enter a subject line however he chooses. It is a good thing to know that nearly everyone will read your message if the subject line has a name or location and that fewer will be reading it if you only have Roll Call in the subject line. The object of posting your message is to reach as many people as possible. One of the things I've noticed about roll calls is that people often fail to associate either dates or places with their surnames of interest. While I at least skim all the messages, when there is not enough information to identify the families being researched, it is impossible to make a connection. You do yourself an injustice when you fail to to enter a meaningful subject line or fail to provide enough information for someone to make a connection.
