This is the first time I felt I could share something of genealogy interest to some others and all I have received is grief. It's a wonder anyone helps anyone any more. Paula in Oregon >> Paula, You are not the one to blame here. Actually everything that passes between members on this list should be open and on the list. Anytime something is passed off list the others are all being cheated of the right to see that information. For those that think it is too much, if the subject line has the surname, they can delete what they are not interested in. I do not say this lightly either, I own a genealogy list, and we, (me and the other two managers that help me) require that everything be on list. Other wise what good is this list, if not for sharing. Without it we might just as well get our note books and pencils and trot back down to the library and research the old way. I say everything should be on the list! Wylene Alston
