Great job, Linda! How many pages long is the book? My Hall family came from SC right around 1900 to Logan County, but I wonder if this Hall family may be related. I see on page 7 that H.C. Hall, the founder of Tulsa, went from Tennessee to Kansas in 1869, and that he and J.M. Hall, his brother, settled in Tulsa in 1882. This was not the route or timing of my family, but does anyone have more details on their family? What were the complete names of H.C. and J.M.? They are probably a completely separate Hall family from mine, but it is always worth looking into! The book contains100 pages so I'm not even a quarter of the way thru it yet. It would have been much quicker if I had simply scanned the pages and saved them as graphics but I wanted the search engines to be able to find the names so it's taking much longer as I have to scan the pages in, run them thru a text conversion program and then fix the mistakes the program makes <g>. And, as most of you know scanning photos and getting them ready to go on-line is also time consuming. This book has a lot of photos. I'll let everyone know when the next installment is up.
