    3. This was a FUN lookup!!! It was the first thing on my list this morning and to tell you the truth it made my day!! I hope you do not mind my sharing this with the group, as once again, it shows what can be found in a document in a lookup. DOC # 31392 is found on Microfilm roll CRN 37 Microfilm pages: 1258-1260. This microfilm is in the Indian Archives at the OHS. The document is a letter and I am going to type it in verbatim. The misspelled words are not mine. It is a handwritten letter, one page is barely legible. I stopped into the museum gift/book shop and they have the following book available: Marauders of the Indian Nation: The Cook Gang and Cherokee Bill by Glenn SHIRLEY (who woulda thunk?) "The story of Crawford "Cherokee Bill" Goldsby and William Tuttle "Bill" Cook whose exploits terrorized the Indian Territory in the Mid-1890's ending with the imprisonment of Bill Cook and the hanging of Cherokee Bill in Ft. Smith Arkansas. 180 pages. Hardback $21.95 The museum book store is online at www.ok-history.mus.ok.us The do accept credit cards and do have a catalog available online. Some of the sales for books there go to the Museum and support the folks housing your kin's documents. (is that a sales pitch or what??) They do have both the Oklahoma Historical Atlas and the Ghost Town book I love there. Nalora
