Hi Jean, Was perusing all my OKROOTS mail and realized you had the whole JOHNSON clan tied to Texas Co., OK. I assisted a JORDAN/YARBROUGH researcher recently on a Texas Co., OK genweb post. The bio didn't state which child authored it, only that the author married W.R. JOHNSON - this bio was in the PANHANDLE PIONEERS Volume 1, 1969 Texhoma, Texas Co., OK - Texhoma Genealogical and Historical Society. The author was the youngest of the YARBROUGH children and a school teacher, her husband she states is W.R. JOHNSON, mail carrier from Eva, eventually Texhoma. There was minimal information on the JOHNSON's and I deducted that the YARBROUGH History author must have been Mrs. Walter JOHNSON. But you may be able to shed additional light on that for the JOHNSON researchers there. You might want to take a look at that site to see if there are any connections there. I desperately sought additional information on the JOHNSON's as they owned the first garage in Texhoma, it was later purchased by Sam JACKSON and my grandfather worked there until he retired - and even after he retired.
