OKbits Visitors counter rolls over To 50,000 Several years ago with the help of my "Mentor" Mike Taylor, I started uploading newspaper articles online which I called "Oklahoma Obits and Tidbits", I changed the name after Sharon McAllister wrote me and in the subject line had shorten the long name to OKbits. The page outgrew my personal family website and in February '98 Rootsweb donated a site just for "OKbits". With the contributions from so many wonderful people, Okbits has grown beyond my expectations.
