Hi all I am looking for ANY information or better yet a relative! of ROBERT MOAT. Hewas born in Co Antrim Ireland around 1842. S/O WILLLIAM & MARGARET REID MOAT. They came to the US around 1847 and settled in Will Co IL. I have not been able to find the parents anyplace and hope that they may be in OK too; at least I'll know where they are. Robert and his brother ALEXANDER (may have been a twin) joined the Civil war in the 100th ILL INF. After that I am presuming that he got land from the government and moved to OK. The rest of the family is here in Illinois and we would like to locate the lost cousins out there. I found in 1906 he was still living in Thomas. I am told that he and his wife Anna are buried in Mound Valley Cemetery in Custer Co OK. Please shake your trees and see if a Moat falls out Annette Nixon Watseka IL
