>From the Independent Appeal , McNairy Co., TN >>>>>>>>>>>>>> DREW SYLER YORK, 79, died on Sun., Jan. 9, 2000, at Magnolia Medical Center in Corinth, Miss., of heart failure. She was a homemaker and a member of Butlers Chapel Baptist Church. Services took place at 1 p.m. on Tues., Jan. 11, at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer. Burial was held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Pocahontas. Officiating the services was Ministers John Coleman and Richard Doyle. Mrs. York was preceded in death by parents, Ambus and Ellen Leatherwood Reed, one son, Travis York, one grandson, Paul York, and one gr-granddaughter, Allison Gafford. She is survived by her husband, T. L. York, three daughters, Peggy Baldwin and Sue Fiveash both of Ramer and Cathy Beck of Oklahoma City, Okla., four sons, Martin York of Chewalla, Bruce York of Nashville, J. T. York and George York both of Ramer, three sisters, Izola Foust of Selmer, and Jewell Carper and Bernese Butler both of Ramer, one brother, Malcolm Reed of Southhaven, Miss., nineteen grandchildren, and nineteen gr-grandchildren.
