This is a real long shot, but while reviewing some files of a 90 yr.old aunt for whom I am attorney-in-fact, I found a photograph of two young ladies. The studio was O.W. Osborn, Tahlequah, I.T.. On the back it reads: Effie Lewis McKinney Laura Patrick Lowrey (about 14 yrs) Laura Patrick married my grandfather T.J. Lowrey on 12/30/1902. My grandmother was b. in March, 1882 so this picture was taken around 1896. Since my grandmothers listed with her maiden name and her married name, I would think that Effie Lewis was the maiden name of the other young lady and McKinney her married name. If anyone knows anything about this Effie Lewis McKinney please let me know. My grandmother was from Braggs and probably went to Tahlequah to have her picture taken so, I would make an assumption that Effie Lewis McKinney might also have been from the Braggs area.
