List, I just have to share my exciting "good news." In March some kind ladies in Missouri, Howell County, found that my grandfather had died and was buried in Amy, Missouri. He was the first person to be buried in Union Amy Cemetery. Cindy even sent me a photo of his headstone. A big brick wall knocked down. I would have never expected him to have been in Amy, but had a hunch he could have been somewhere in Missouri. Last night a couple that have a Alamosa County, Colorado web page had been doing a census look up on a great uncle. They had also sent me some names and dates of my family name buried in Alamosa and Costilla County Cemetery. Lo and Behold the 2 names in the Blanca, Colorado cemetery are my great grandparents! A huge brick wall is now broken down. I finally have the information on my grandparents, great grandparents, etc., up to 1707. For me that is a huge treat!!!! Now I can concentrate on aunts, uncles, etc., as well as try and find information about their lives. Miracles do happen through the kindness of others. I never anticipated finding my paternal grandfather nor his parents place of death. Wishing everyone good fortune in their search........... Paula/Oregon

He was the first person I find it interesting that someone else went through howell county to find info about their family :) Most of my contacts in the area have been very helpful. Of course my own father answered a big mystery when I couldn't locate GGrand Dad's grave in the Missouri Cemetary. He never told me that he was buried in Oklahoma with my Grand Father. Congrats on your find. Thomas Vickers
