I am really needing help to find information on my great grandfather. His name is Archibald Benjamin BROWN b.25 June 1892 Redland, Sequoyah Co., OK. His father was Mathew BROWN and his mother was Francis Elizabeth BIGGS b. 1863 Dardanelle,,AR Archibald married Emma Elizabeth WILLIFORD on her birthday 26 Nov. 1911 in Loafer's Glory, Now Fallsville, Ark then they went to his home in Redland, OK. I have the newspaper article. It was cut out and given to me but not the paper info. My grandfather stated that his mother and father divorced and he was never heard from again. My grandpa left home at 13 to become a COWBOY. At 83 he still team ropes for his dinner. Grandpa said he met his father somewhere in the 1950's in South Texas and the man was going by the name "Tex". He too was a cowboy. Said he was kinda tall and lanky. Believes he died there in the 1960's. around Brownsville or Brownwood. Not sure which?. What should I do to find MORE about him?
