As a member of NORCAL (Northern California) one of the first lists.. I say let it flow... Bring on the history.. the tall tales... the family storytelling... and yes even the "opps' " The one thing I have learned, is you never know when and where you will find the answer.. often writing to someone off - list helps to clarify the correct "question" to ask and making sure you have enhanced the question with all the possible information.... the answer maybe there but if you don't ask you will never know... as a librarian we always say... "There is never a silly question !" Please do not make rules.. Do greet "newbies" and Do help where you can ! It will come back to you ten fold !
