I looked up in my cemetary book bibilo and there are quite a few listings for cemetary listings in there, some are even in the old "Relocated cemetaries". Pawnee was part of the Cherokee Outlet, by the way, the one the Newspaper I was reading today covers a lot of news in. It even listed some Indian Obituaries with their Indian names. I was quite impressed. There are no Lo-dusk-i in the DAWES rolls for Cherokee *all I have avail to me til I get my CD, but you have two things there in your bio that happened a lot with Indian names. 1. Some of the roll takers if they could not understand the name they would sound it out or they would give the indian a "Famous" person's name. George Washington Florence Nightengale, Thomas Jefferson, etc. Are you able to trace the Adams besides in MO? Does his family list as white? There is not a Benjamin Franklin or a Lodusky Adams on the final Dawes for Cherokee. In the Drennen Rolls 1852 the closet is : LUN SE TA KEE and one: LE DA. here is something neat. If you are Christian, you are familiar with the word: Adonai, right? In Hebrew it is HA-DAHN-EYE. It looks promising, however they are not on the Cherokee rolls that I can see.
