For all genealogists this is a must: "Handy Book for Genealogists by George Everton Sr. This book has all the states, names of counties, map index, date county was created, when organized. I have the sixth edition and purchased at a genealogy class in 1979. I am sure it is still in publication. I have a pamphlet "Where to write for vital Records" It came from the US Department of Health & Human Services. Sorry, I didn't keep the address. Maybe someone out there can be of some help. Barb
