Hi Wendy, THOMAS YOUNG & RACHEL LEEWRIGHT YOUNG were in that area, RACHEL is said to be buried at DIXIE CEM. near ARDMORE. She is said to buried next to her daughter DORA ISABELLE YOUNG GARNER, DORA is listed in the cem. records but RACHEL isn't. Her grave marker must be gone. I have a old picture of THOMAS and RACHEL with the small children, it must have been taken 1883-1884. The cardboard frame says: WYNNEWOOD, IDNIAN TERRITORY. THOMAS was born in England and spoke with an English accent. RACHEL was born in Evansville, Indiana. DORA ISABELLE YOUNG GARNER and JOHN J. GARNER were living there in later years. JOHN J. GARNER ran a ferry across RED RIVER. Do you know anything about that? I understand people used to have to cross that way. Will post this to Oklahoma Roots-L also. The surnames I am researching are AVANT, BAKER, BAILEY, BELCHER, CLAIBORNE, DAVIS, DILLON, FLETCHER, GARNER, GOOCH, HANING, HAWK, MCKINNEY, POWHATAN, THOMPSON, YOUNG. Nora N.
