Morning Alicemae You can request the necessary form over the internet. The email address is inquire@nara.gov Simply request the NATF Form 84. Be sure and include you ship to address, your email address and you phone number. The forms are free so I usually request several at a time. The Fees for the packets are listed below. The homestead papers contain a great deal of info usually 20 pages or so. Well worth the expense. Would these be different from the Patent? I obtained a photocopy of my grandfather's (Daniel Hannegan) land patent from the Medford Court House, but if there is more info to be obtained from the homestead papers I would love to obtain them as well. If these are different, do you have an address to enable me to mail for them, and any other info that would be of assistance. Thanking you in advance, Alicemae HANNEGAN Abbott Stettler, Alberta, Canada copper@heartland.ab.ca ----- Original Message ----- From: "Martha Newman/vth/Cvm" <mncvt3@cvm.okstate.edu> To: <OKROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 24, 2001 6:15 AM Subject: Re: [OKROOTS] one answer to "Help Please" > > Nelson > Yes they are listed on the 1890 Oklahoma Territory Census, here is the info > available > > Township 19 Range 3 West, County #1 (Later known as Logan County) > Morris, William, white male, age 49, born in Ill, in Oklahoma Territroy 3 > months > wife, Elva, age 48, born in Ohio, also in OT 3 months > son, Samuel, age 21, born in Missouri, in OT 3 months > daughter Julia, age 16, born in Missouri, in OT 3 months. > > There is another Morris family living very close by and also came 3 months > ago. > Henry R., wife Laura and 6 children.
