Nelson Didn't realize you were so far away. It will be real easy for you to obtain the homestead packet since you already have the patent number. I have been very pleased with the packets I have recieved, usually 20+ pages of information, sometimes even including copies of naturalization records. It will be well worth your time and money (seens like its around $10) I will send the necessary form for you along with the census page copy in Mondays mail. Let me check on a few other things for you and I will get back with you next week. (Logan County, MORRIS) 1. I don't have anything on Henry R. Is there a section number (in township 19) listed for Henry or William? 2. I don't know how to obtain homestead info from national archives. Is it possible? 3. I have a copy of a land patent issued to Samuel E. which I got from Guthrie courthouse. Township 19, 3 west, SE corner of section 31. 4. Maybe Williams homestead papers would help trace him back to Ill.? Is this the best approach? 5. I would love a copy of the census page.
