Nelson Yes they are listed on the 1890 Oklahoma Territory Census, here is the info available Township 19 Range 3 West, County #1 (Later known as Logan County) Morris, William, white male, age 49, born in Ill, in Oklahoma Territroy 3 months wife, Elva, age 48, born in Ohio, also in OT 3 months son, Samuel, age 21, born in Missouri, in OT 3 months daughter Julia, age 16, born in Missouri, in OT 3 months. There is another Morris family living very close by and also came 3 months ago. Henry R., wife Laura and 6 children. If you would like this info also please let me know. If you need a copy of the Census page send me your mailing address and I will get it out to you. Have you obtained William's homestead papers yet from the national archives. Martha, In reading your answer to Nelson, I noticed that you asked if they had obtained the homestead papers from the National Archives. Would these be different from the Patent? I obtained a photocopy of my grandfather's (Daniel Hannegan) land patent from the Medford Court House, but if there is more info to be obtained from the homestead papers I would love to obtain them as well. If these are different, do you have an address to enable me to mail for them, and any other info that would be of assistance.
