MY AUNT MARY JUST DIED a few months back and I didn't get the information I wanted nor can or will her family provide it. They aren't into genealogy! actually, she is my aunt through marriage...but still Mom provided me as much information as she could. Maybe you will recognize someone and help Mary Tamar CLARK married Johnnie Franklin CHAPMAN about 1920 in Tulsa? OK. They were both residents of Henryetta Oklahoma at the time of their marriage. I would like to know more about her parents, etc. What I have: father: John Franklin CLARK of Jacksboro, Jacks Co. TX died abt 1946???OK??? either he or his father joined the South as a drummer boy during the civil war and lost his inheritance to a cousin because they thought he died.... mother; Louiza Jane Bynum aka "Little Grandma" lived in Moore, cleveland Co. Ok when died early 1950's. Supposed to be buried in Cleveland Co. OK cemetery( bad weather has kept me from exploring!!) children: Mary Tamar Clark m. Johnnie Franklin "John" CHAPMAN Martha Clark m? abt 1945 husband retired from railoard and had pension Donald CLARK Bonnie Garland CLARK m. b Josephine ??? Bonnie was supervisor for Railway EXpress Oklahoma City. His daughter was a Debutant somewhere around 1945-50? Ruth CLARK m. ? HAMBY son : Robert Terry HAMBY lived at 2117 SW47th St Oklahoma City, At Penn 47 Apartments died around 1995-96 at age 67-68 appreciate hearing from anyone who can tell me about the CLARK family so that I might trace them back, too.
