We heard about the tornados in Oklahoma all the way down here in Houston, we had a few warning in SE Houston but nothing here in the Woodlands, just some nice rain that we have been lacking. Glad to hear that no one had any damage. Looking for information on a deputy sheriff of Bixby, his name was W.E. (WILLIAM EARNEST) PINION some times referred to as OLD BILL PINION. He was b. 1874. I have one article about him, but not much else. Would like to see if anyone has information about his family. Will greatly appreciate it. Next question: does anyone know anything about "JITTNEY" services that ran in the Tulsa area in say 1915 to 1940. We have one copy of a small article written about one that ran from Tulsa to Claremore, but no dates. It was supposedly run by the other side of my family tree the RANKIN's . My grandfathers' name was CHARLES WESLEY RANKIN. Don't have much on his family either.
