    1. [OKROOTS-L] Introduction
    2. Michael Harbour
    3. Greetings all, My name is Michael Harbour. I was the third generation of my family to be born in Bartlesville. My great grandfather George McClellan Harbour (obvious Union sympathies) came to the area before statehood, coming from Winfield, KS sooner than the land rush to sell whisky to the Delaware and Cherokee folks in the Strip. My grandfather Ear Jennings Harbour was born in Bartlesville in 1913 and was an Ice Man for the Crystal Ice company in Bartlesville. My father Mike Harbour was born there in '37. He married a Bartlesville girl, Jacquie Lawver in 1955. Dad had moved to Dewey (home of Tom Mix!) with his family. Dad worked at a teller for the First national Bank of Dewey for a while. Then he was a vice president of Heat Transfer Research Inc, a subsidiary of Phillips Petroleum. I was born in Bartlesville in '59. I attended school in Dewey. Graduated from high school in Tulsa (Memorial '77) and attended OU, but finished my undergrad years later at SFA in Nacogdoches, Texas. I have been living south of the border (The Red) for the last 18 years. Two years ago I moved to Wichita Falls, which is just south of my home land. I ran across this discussion list and look forward to the conversations with all of you. Michael Harbour Loop Eleven church of Christ Wichita Falls, Texas mharbour@wf.net
