Or in the bathroom with a mattress over your head. The first tornado I remember was when I was 5 years old, I was looking out the picture window all goggle-eyed and Dad was screaming at mom to get the kids in the bathroom. Mom yanked me away from the picture window and dragged me down the hall to the bathroom. The toilet flushed and started gurgling, and Dad went to the front door to try and open it, but it was vacuum shut. Just then the roof came off and flew away and I shut my eyes and thought I would open them to the Land of OZ. When I opened them there were hundreds of frogs in the house. (It had lifted them from a creek nearby and deposited them in the house) We called the creek "Lightning Creek" tho its real name was Oak creek. It is now called Lightning Creek officially. We used to go down there on hot summer days and go crawdad hunting. Nalora
