The Tulsa Library does have many of the Central Yearbooks. You could phone or email them and inquire. Also the Tulsa Genealogy Society may have additional info and has a library just off 31 street near Mingo. Phone operator could probably give you no.
Hi, Does anyone have a list of the students in schools in about 1920-30 & teachers in Haskell Co. OK. My mother & syblings went to school in OK. I was born in McCurtain, OK. Would appreciate any help. I'm sorry but I do not know where you could find the year books for the years which you are interested. My guess would be that the Tulsa Library would have a copy, but that is a guess. I do not now live in Tulsa so am not familiar with their set up. Another possibility would be to contact the school itself. The old Tulsa Central school building, which was downtown Tulsa, was sold in about 1980 (a guess) to Public Service Co of Okla. However, they built a new school out on East Edison and named it Central and I believe all the records were transferred there as well. Your best bet might be to contact the school to see if they would still have attendance records for the years in which you are interested. If so, they might also have a copy of the year book and of course a student picture. Howdy! I have two directories (I have more somewhere...just haven't found them yet). One is 1957-58 and the other is 1955-56. Is there someone I can look up for you? I also found in the attic a box of high school and college year books. Come to think of it, I have some junior high year books too dating back to the 50's. Central High, Wilson Jr. High, and OSU. I'm fine. Going back for another upper GI/endoscopy Wednesday at the gastroenterologist....arrrgh. No prep except NBM after midnight. This is to see if the Acephix medication has healed my multiple ulcers. I can tell you right now it hasn't...I'm still bleeding. Hopefully I will be able to start taking Vioxx again now that they know that isn't/wasn't what was causing the ulcers. I'm so stiff and achy I can barely move, but I make myself move so it doesn't get worse. Enough of about me, what about you? You've been quiet. Did you ever find a 'new' residence? Are you planning any cross-country trips this year. Can you believe that it has nearly been a year since you went to FL? Let me know if I can assist in looking up a (some) name(s) for you. Take care, until next time, Mickie D. domuff@webzone.net
What years are these things from? And HOW are you?

Thank you very much, Rita Sharon Sharon, Here is what I found. Some entries on WELLS but none on EASTIN or KINDRED. In the "WHITES AMONG THE CHEROKEES" book there are EATONS (John, Reuben, Samuel, Sirrah, Surry and William), EASTERLINGS (Obediance and William), EASONS (Reuben) and KENDRICK( John, Robert and Larkin) if you think those might be alternate spellings. Rita
My grandparents lived around Claremore and Ooglah OK. My mom thinks they had a child, but it died within 4 months of birth. This birth would have been between 1900 and 1908. The childs name was Mary. Her parents were Isham Wesley Caudle and Nellie Brandt Caudle. Would someone be kinds enough to tell me the name of the cemeteries in that area during the above dates. If so, are they searchable on the internet. Thanks for the help. Avie
