Hi listers, Does anyone know of a book or web site or any other reference material which would list residents of old soldier homes in OK? In particular anywhere around Carter or Hughes Counties. I know the two areas are not close together but the person in question served in the Civil War and was age 80 in the 1920 census. His children lived in those two counties so he might have been in either one. Thanks for any help or insight. Brenda

Hi List, Could someone tell me what county Downs is located. I find James, Ed, and Frank RECTOR made the Cherokee Strip Land Run. My grandfather, James H. RECTOR had three sons with his Choctaw wife.
