    1. [OKROOTS-L] Juanita Breckenridge
    2. M.G. Moss
    3. Searching for info on this lady who i think lived in Moore OK as late as 1959. She signed her daddys death cir. that year. Parents are Paul and Maude Breckenridge. Maybe a marriage record for her is in Moore. I have called every Breckenridge listed in the phone book for OK city and Moore with no luck. Her daddy Paul was a career army man proably stationed in Ok and just stayed there when he retired around 1950. He was b in Ga. about 1905. Dont know anything about his wife except her first name. Maude. Paul is susposed to be buried in the City Cemetery in Moore. Any thing on this family will be greatly appreciated. Mike Moss Mineral Bluff, GA.

    2. Looking for any info on Daniel Green or Virginia Morris Green. Daniel is possibly burried in Love County. Their son, Sterling Price Green and wife Mary Ann Deal Green were in Pottawatomi Co, by 1900. Some of this extended family was still in Prague, Lincoln Co, by the 30's and 40's. Virginia (Jennie) Morris Green was possibly Cherokee. Thanks, Laurie Greene James

    1. [OKROOTS-L] WALLACE, TACITUS & BESSIE
    2. Family lore says that Tacitus (Tass) and Bessie Wallace moved from Oglethorpe County, Georgia to somewhere in Oklahoma around 1907-1908. Living in Florida, I have very limited access to Oklahoma records of any kind. If someone has access to the 1910 Oklahoma census, or the Soundex for Wallace, I would greatly appreciate a lookup. Thank you in advance. Bill Brown Orlando, Florida Wilgeese2@aol.com

    2. N. Gamel-Livecy
    3. There is alot of mail sent out everyday from this mail list. It would be easier on everyone if people would put surnames or a pacific subject in the subject line. We have 185 people subscribed right now. This list will keep growing over the next few weeks (I hope). If people must read every e-mail that comes through the mail list due to a bad subject line or no subject line they will unsubscribe to the list. The more people we have on this mailimg list the more chances you have of making a connection with a family member or someone that has information you may need. Also people delete messages with a bad or no subject line. Thank you to everyone on the list for subscribing. Hope each one of you make the connection you need. Good subject line: GAMEL/HAYES Good subject line: Garfield County 1880 Census Bad subject line: OK Surnames Bad subject line: Census Nancy Gamel-Livecy Oklahoma Surnames: GAMEL, HAYES, SLIGAR/SLIGER, DEVLIN, COBURN, TOPPER, SATTERLEE Other surnames: BRASWELL, WILLIAMS, HUTCHESON, WHITEHEAD, NEIGHBORS/NABORS, EVANS, SCARBROUGH, McADAMS ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

    2. Chris Eldredge
    3. Hi! I have a James Harrison MOONEY is reported to be dead in two different years, 1914 and 1916. Here's what I have. He died 1914 and is buried at Day Creek Cemetery, Lookout, Oklahoma. 1916. In 1956, in an interview with a newspaper reporter, his wife said he was killed 42 years ago, making it 1914. He either died in Woodard or Cay. I think these are cities? Does anybody know if Day Creek Cemetery still exists? I think I remember finding Lookout in Woods County before. Any and all help is appreciated. 3. Marcia- I don't even remember where I got this book or exactly when. I just know that I've had it for many years. It was of interest to me because I was a modern day "gospel preacher" who had the opportunity to meet and hear a few of the old timers, including C. R. Nichol, husband of the compiler. I seriously doubt that the book is available anywhere except in a used book antiquariat If there are names you would like me to look up, I'll be happy to do so. I can also copy specific pages covering individuals of interest to you and send them. Keep in mind that those listed in this book are ministers of the churches of Christ.
