    3. I am researching two lines. Thompson and Deaton. These families traveled with the coopers from GA>AR>OK. They settled Pleasant Hill Community, Bokchito, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory around 1890. Murdock MecKenzie Deaton b March 1830 died 12 Dec. 1900 and is burried at Pleasant Hill. He and his wife Sarah had four children: 1. Joel Deaton b May 1852 pb MS d 1910 pd Bryan OK spouse Cordially Burns married 1 Jan 1879 2. Samantha Laura Deaton b 16 May 1853 pb MS d 7 May 1938 pd Taylor Columbia AR married Henry Harvey Thompson 3. Francis Marion Deaton b Jun 1860 pb AR d 1938 married Ramy O. Cathren 19 Sept. 1886 4. Jake M. Deaton b 1868 d 1895 married Aramnda C. Black 13 Marck 1892 >From the July 10, 1990 census for TWP 6 South, Rge 11 East in Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. Deaton, Murdock M; born March 1869; married 50 years; born in N.car.; father and mother born in N.Car. He could read, write and speak the English Language. Deaton, Sarah A.; wife, no birthdate given age 62; mother of nine children with four living; born in GA father and mother born in N. Car.; can read, write and speak English Language. Deaton, Lola; Granddaughter, born Feb. 1890 age 10; single; born in AR; fther born in GA; mother born in AR; can read, write and speak Enlish Language. Deaton, Marion F.; son born June 1860; age 40; married 13 years; born in AR; father born in N Car; mother born in GA; farmer and laborere; can read,write and speak English Language. Deaton, Ramy O.; daughter; born May 1865; age 35; mother of 3, 2 living; born in AR; father born in GA; mother born in AR; can read, write and speak English Language. She is Marion's wife. Deaton, Jacob M; grandson; born Aug 1897; age 2; born in Indian Territory, father and mother born in AR. Henry Harvey Thompson and Samantha Laura lived in the same area. It is said that Henry Harvey professionally broke saddle horses for riding. Thomas Henry and Matilda Ann Thompson also lived in OK for about 20 years, with several of their children including Henry Harvey. Children of Thomas and Matilda Thompson 1. Mary Emaline Thompson 2.
