    3. Hi List, I am a new subscriber to this list. I am looking for a cemetery listing for Giles Cemetery in Pottawatomie Co. I remember going there as a child with my grandparents. My great grandfather, Harvey Donald OWEN, is buried there. He died October, 3, 1906. I remember that his headstone had a Masonic symbol on it. Can anyone suggest how I could get more information about him? I have a letter he wrote stating that he went to the Masonic Grand Lodge in Guthrie (1903). Also, he was a physician. Thanks for any suggestions. Dana Christian

    3. I have THE DALTON GANG STORY by Nancy B. Samuelson (Shooting Star Press, 1992). Researched & documented. Not indexed. I went through it once & wrote down surnames. ONE association of TURNER to gang. Bill Dalton's son Charles married Emma TURNER & had six children. WEST OF HELL'S FRINGE by Glenn Shirley has two TURNERS. Will Turner was Deputy Sheriff in Pottawatomie Co, spring 1895. M. L. 2. I have a large article about them and who they teamed up with, but no mention of Turner. However, Emmett Dalton's main literary work entitled When trhe Daltons Rode, which appeared in 1931, six years before the last of the Daltons died. It purported to be a true account of the Dalton's activities. Emmett Dalton (he is of the original gang) was a building contractor. He also did some writing for the movies and appeared in small roles. What they are I don't know and my book doesn't say.

    1. [OKROOTS-L] DEATH DATE-LUCINDA BROWNLEE WESTBROOK-LINCOLN CO, OK
    2. Lisa Henderson
    3. I am seeking the death date of Lucinda Brownlee Westbrook, died abt 1910, in Lincoln Co, OK. She was the wife of Rob Westbrook, married Jan 5, 1899, in Tate co, MS. They had 6-8 children and she died in Lincoln Co, abt 1910 of TB, perhaps in a Sanitarium. I was wondering if anyone can link up, or look-up this date, as barring my going to OK, I haven't been able to find any information on all the children, her death date and what happened to Rob Westrook. Perhaps a Cemetery listing, or obit. The children were raised by "family" in MS. Rob Westbrook, is thought to have remarried and started another family. Thanks so much, Lisa Henderson
