I am trying to research my children's roots on their father's side but I haven't much information to go on since he is deceased and I never met any of his family. Both his mother and father were deceased when I met him. He was Don Allen Arnold born in Centralia, IL. on March 30, 1939. His parents were W. "Francis" ARNOLD and Juanita Virginia (ALLEN) ARNOLD, I don't know where they were born or died but I know the ARNOLD family lived around Claremore and Sand Springs, OK. and were Catholic. I have a couple of certificates from The Oratory in Rock Hill, S.C. that were sent to Mrs. Clay ARNOLD of Sand Springs, OK. in 1951 and 1953, they were in the name of her son "Francis" W. E. ARNOLD who was killed in an accident around 1942 or 1943 when the truck he was driving hit some gas pumps and exploded (this is what Don told me about his fathers death). W. "Francis" ARNOLD had one brother - CLEVELAND _ Vale Ervin Arnold, 77, retired tool and die maker, died Monday. Services 2 p.m. Wednesday, Woodland Cemetery Chapel. Chapman-Black (This was in the May 11, 1994 edition of Tulsa world which would mean he died on May 8, 1994.(SSDI has that he died 5/9/1994)) - and one sister Maxine (ARNOLD) STONE b: May 20, 1920 - d: January, 1985. I think there were more brothers and sisters but I'm not sure. Juanita Virginia ALLEN b: Nov. 1924, first married W. "Francis" ARNOLD and they had one child Don Allen ARNOLD and she was widowed when Don was about 3 years old and then she married Barney MCADOO and they had one child Jon Lyle MCADOO in Missouri about 1944, she later divorced Barney and married a Johnnie (Johnny)? JOHNSON whom she also later divorced and was single when she died at the age of 44 in November of 1968. That's about all I know, sure hope someone can help me. One of his grandmothers married a BINGHAM after her first husband died.
