Hello, I'm new to this list, and this is my first query. I'm looking for information on the family of WILLIAM CHAMBERS. He is listed on the DAWES CENSUSas being ONE HALF CHEROKEE, AGE 65,and a widower. His wife was PARALEE PARRIS, who was FULL BLOOD CHEROKEE. He registered 3 minor children. They were:JESSE S. CHAMBERS, age 16, LEO CHAMBERS, age 13, andJOSEPH "JOE HENRY" CHAMBERS,age 10. WILLIAM stated that he had lived in the COOWEESOOWEE DISTRICT, CLAREMORE, OK, that he had SIX children, but was registering the three minor children. I'm looking for the names and ages of the other three children. Does anyone have information on this family? Are there any living from this family?
