Mrs. Richardson, wife of Thomas Richardson, a dreey man of that town, filled the coal oil stove with gasoline and upon lighting the same, an explosion of the gasoline resulted. The burning oil was thrown over the lady and little infant child and burns were inflicted which resulted in the death of both in a very short time. A sister-in-law of Mrs. Richardson was badly burned in trying to extinguish the flames.
