Danny Ringer officiating. Interment followed at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Sarah Alice Madden was born February 5, 1909 at Antlers to Henry Calvin and Florence Rosenia (Ralls) Bashaw and passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the age of 99. She was raised in Western Oklahoma and moved to Hugo in 1946. She was married to Albert Madden on October 12, 1949 at Paris, Texas and they made home in Hugo. Mr. Madden preceded her in death in 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her sister: Helen Moore and husband Theodore of Sayre, two sisters-in-law, Florella Bashaw of Elk City and Dorothy Basshaw of Pampa, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
