Danny Riner officiating. Interment will be in the White Rose Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Earnest Dale Lanee was born October 24, 1952 at Sayre, Oklahoma to Sye Earnest and June (Tunnell) Lane and passed away Monday, May 7, 2008 at the age of 55. He attended Elk City Schools and then served his country in the US Army. After his discharge he returned to western Oklahoma where he worked as a salesman in the oilfield. He was a member of the American Legion and was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include 3 sons: Josh Lane and his wife Quinda of Burns Flat, Sye Lane of Oklahoma City, and Patrick Lane of Oklahoma City; 1 daughter Jo Ann Bashaw of Sayre; 3 grandchildren, and his brothers and sisters, Danny Lane of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Nelda Bennett of Sayre, Ronnie Lawson of Elk City, Janice Hales of Elk City, Larry Lane of Elk City, David Lane of Elk City, Clydde Lane of Elk City, and Vickey Lane of Texas.
