Ray Redden was about 53 years of age at the time of his death. He came to Oklahoma thirty-one years ago and established a home. He has made this country his home practically all of the time, though he spent some of this timew in Arkansas and Colorado. He underwent an operation about a year ago for cencer of the stomach, but the dread disease kept up its avenge on his boedy until finally the end came. Funeral services were held in Durham Tuesday morning in premences of a very large crowd. The Odd Fellows at Durham perforrmed the final rites of the order at the Pie Flat Cemetery where his remains were laid to rest. Ray Redden is a brother of J.C. Redden, a prominent citizen of Durham. Ray was engaged in business in Cheyenne in 1893 and 1904.
