H. Hickman of Sherman, Texas last Monday. She was 70 years old. When her son walked into the house the mothers happiness over his arrival gave way to an attack of nervouseness and she died within five hours. Three months ago Fifel Hickman the son lost his wife and one child in a fire on his ranch in Montana, and he brought the surviving child to Sherman to spend Christmas with his mother and as a surprise did not notify her of his intended visit.
